An 'Under the Weather' Easter

Easter Sunday is a beautiful day! We recognize the day Jesus rose from His tomb and gave the greatest gift there ever was: Eternal Life.

For little ones, this amazing day is also accompanied with baskets of yummies and pretty clothes :)  

Unfortunately for Rissa, this Easter was also a time for her first bout of antibiotics! She developed bronchitis and an ear infection...at least we know she isn't allergic to amoxicillin :) Friday was a little rough but lucky for her, she's got lots of people who love and care for her!

We went to dinner with Kyle's side of the family Saturday evening. We took pictures with the Easter Bunny and then had a lunch with my side of the family, followed by a skype date with Chells! 

I love watching the girls interact - Rissa will learn so much from her four older girl cousins! ;)

We are lucky to have the "in" with the Easter Bunny at the Thriftway in town! Another benefit to living in the town you grew up in! Thank you Easter Bunny for such a great time!
