2 Week F/U Visit
Marissa saw her doctor today...she has gained weight and is a little taller! She now weighs 8lbs 9oz and is 21.75 inches long. This is such great news, although doesn't surprise Kyle or I too much - she's got a great appetite and was back up to her birth weight in 4 days!
She has been spending about 10 minutes on her tummy per day. This is the amount of time she agrees to before making her lungs sing! She loves nap time and enjoys it even more if she's lying on mommy or daddy's chest.
Kyle and I have been trying to get as much rest/nap time in as possible, but Marissa is the dictator of those allotted times! Kyle has been great at balancing his job, yard/house work, and family time.
Maverick, the puggle, is also embracing the newest addition to the family. The first day home had him very confused...while Marissa was resting in the bassinet, her squeaks and grunts had Mav standing on his hind legs so he could peek inside to see what was making the funny sounds! He has now decided this little squeak toy isn't something he is interested in playing with...yet :)
The Greer house is doing well: a little messier, a lot louder and more sleep deprived, but loving life!
...pictures are coming, I promise!
