Kids Say the Darndest Things

Marissa's wit is growing exponentially...here are just a couple of things that happened in the last week:

Scenario:
Bumpa & Gigi's house ~ while being offered a cookie.
G: Marissa you can have the same number of cookies as how old you are. So here's one...
M: Thank You. (Eats the first cookie)
G: Okay, and how old are you?
M: Uhm....Eight!

Scenario:
Our house for Kyle's bday, my whole family is over ~ while I ask her our names:
K: Hey Riss, what is daddy's name?
M: Kyle
K: Very good! What is mommy's name?
M: Kates (what Kyle calls me)
K: Good job! And what is uncle's name? (she calls Jonathan,"Uncle")
M: Uhm........how about...(we all burst into laughter!!!)
